Evelyn Beatriz Hernandez Cruz, 19, did not realize she was pregnant following her sexual assault until the stillbirth of her fetus. Under El Salvador's strict abortion policy, she was found guilty of failing to seek proper care for the unborn child and sentenced to three decades in prison.
